I just received my very first blog awards, yeah not 1 to ease me into this thing, but 2. Thank you, Lisa I love you and your blog Soaked to my Soul. I'm flattered that you chose me, I didn't think most people cared what I wrote about. It's not much substance, just pics of my super cute kids!

I'm gonna do this a lil different than some others have done it, since I don't know many bloggers I'm gonna pass this on to all of them!
1. I have been married to my best friend & soul mate for 7 1/2 years
2. My mom is one of my best friends
3. I wish that I could afford to be a SAHM, being a mommy is my most favorite thing in the world.
4. I have the most annoying dog, he's a Jack Russell Terrier, need I say more. I love him anyway
5. I love to play in the snow, sledding, skiing, snowmobiling
6. I would have a dozen children if Jake & God would let me! Biological & adopted!
7. I love living in the country
My addictions
1. Dr. Pepper - I have tried unsuccessfully numerous times to kick this habit.
2. Sweet tea --I formed this habit while trying to kick the addiction in number 1
3. Playing Rockband, it's fun and it's good quality time with the fam!
4.Farmtown on Facebook, well Facebook in general, but I'm really liking being a farmer right now.
5.Shopping-- I'm not talking grocery shopping or household shopping. I mean a new shirt or pair of shoes shopping. What girl doesn't like to splurge on something for herself, for me it's better than therapy! Now that I'm a mom, especially to a little girl, I tend to splurge on cutesie little dresses and shoes for her instead of me.

ReplyDeleteI'm honored when you say that I am one of your best friends. Being your mom has brought me so much joy always and especially now that we are closer (in our relationship as well in just living down the street). There are many things I'll always treasure about you, a few are:
ReplyDelete* our Sunday dinners together as one BIG family in somewhat limited space (at least currently)
* raising you as an only child gave us a lot of quality time together ONLY to be interrupted by the addition of 3 younger siblings when you were 18
* allowing me to be VERY involved with your adorable precious children, to whom I will always be NANA!
* you and Jake are amazing parents and I admire you both!
